Don Anderson

Don is a newcomer to the world of dog training. CoPilot , a two year old Dalmatian is the first dog he has trained.  Being an airline pilot with frequent monthly stays in North America he never had the opportunity to train a dog. Now being retired he has develop this interest.

He is particularly interested in Rally O which he first saw in Seattle when he was on a training trip. Tricks and life skills are also interests of Don’s . He believes that Rally O builds naturally on from life skills which the dog  learns in formative training lessons. As a check and training pilot ,  Don understands the difficulties people experience when they train their dog. Managing the dog, reading their body language, co-ordinating lead, treats and listening to the instructor is mentally demanding but intensely satisfying. Don says he has been lucky “because CoPilot is such a good co-pilot.” Don’s aim is to help people develop a mutually satisfying relationship with their dog.

CoPilot also enjoys  agility  and loves being  wheeled about in her wheelbarrow as one of her favourite rewards.
