Gill has been involved in Dog training for seven years. She started with her 12 year old Sheltie, Ftse.  She now trains her 6 year old Dalmatian Specs who has two agility titles.

Specs is a talented dog as she also does “ Dances with Dogs”, “Rally O” and also enjoys chasing her Frisbee and playing scent games at home.  Gill‘s main interest is life skills for dogs because she believes this is what will help dogs becoming loving companions in the home. She has an interest in helping dogs and owners stay together for life.

A former early intervention and preschool teacher Gill found positive reward based training exciting because it built on her knowledge of how human’s learn and she was able to apply it.

She is currently studying with the Delta Society for a Certificate 4 in Companion Animal Services.
